To all our friends in Ottawa, Catherine and I will be in town on Sunday (May 24) at the Ravenswing Craft and Zine Fair alongside Ottawa Comics guru Colin White. The fair is held in Minto park, between Elgin & Cartier and Gilmour & Lewis. The weather promises to be good, so it should be a lot of fun.
Along with copies of the zine, I’ll have a series of art posters for sale featuring some new (and some old) work. I’ll post pics soon, but if you’re in the neighbourhood, come by for first dibs.

This drawing is where John recommended Kevin eat tonight!
When I was making these drawings I was always “waiting for something to happen” for comix material. This was drawn from a bubble tea shop across the way, and nothing did happen while drawing it. However, a month ago, my girlfriend and I were in the same bubble tea shop at midnight, and the Chinese pharmacy beside So Good (Ping Fat Lee) got kicked in by some angry passing crack head. The funniest part was watching about 4 police show up afterwards and start socializing on the street beside the broken glass.
Very much looking forward to Ravenswing with you both tomorrow. Hopefully this blog post encourages ONE person to come and say hi to us. Wouldn’t that be nice? I for one will give a free card to anyone who comes from this post. What a deal!
